1. About This Site<\/h2>\n

This Site provides general information about the Clinic’s services in gastroenterology, endoscopy, and metabolic, liver and hormonal health, and offers ways to contact us, request an appointment, and \u2014 where enabled \u2014 use an AI Intake Assistant to help describe your symptoms before contacting us.<\/p>\n

2. Medical Disclaimer<\/h2>\n

This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it in full.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • The Site is for general informational purposes only.<\/strong> Nothing on the Site \u2014 including service descriptions, illustrations, articles, videos, or any AI-generated content \u2014 constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be treated as such.<\/li>\n
  • No doctor-patient relationship is created<\/strong> by browsing the Site, submitting a contact form, subscribing to the newsletter, or using the AI Intake Assistant. A doctor-patient relationship is only established once you have a formal consultation with a clinician at the Clinic.<\/li>\n
  • Always seek the advice of a qualified physician<\/strong> or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or were told on this Site.<\/li>\n
  • If you are experiencing a medical emergency<\/strong> \u2014 including but not limited to chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, or suicidal thoughts \u2014 call your local emergency services immediately or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on this Site, its content, or the AI Intake Assistant in an emergency.<\/li>\n
  • Illustrations, diagrams, and general health information<\/strong> provided on service pages are simplified for public understanding and are not a substitute for individualised clinical assessment. Every patient’s situation is different.<\/li>\n

    3. The AI Intake Assistant<\/h2>\n

    If the Clinic makes an AI Intake Assistant feature available on the Site, the following terms apply in addition to the general Medical Disclaimer above:<\/p>\n

    • It is an AI tool, not a clinician.<\/strong> The AI Intake Assistant is a software feature that uses artificial intelligence to ask about your symptoms and suggest which clinic service may be relevant. It is not a doctor, nurse, or any licensed healthcare professional, and it will tell you this directly.<\/li>\n
    • It does not diagnose.<\/strong> The assistant is designed never to state or imply a specific diagnosis, and never to recommend medication, dosage, or a specific treatment. If it does so due to an error or limitation of the underlying AI technology, this output should be disregarded, and you should not act on it.<\/li>\n
    • It does not assess urgency reliably in every case.<\/strong> While the assistant is designed to recognise certain urgent (“red flag”) symptoms and direct you to seek immediate care, it may not correctly identify every situation that needs urgent attention. If you are ever unsure whether your symptoms are serious, treat them as serious: contact the Clinic directly or seek emergency care. Do not wait for or rely on the assistant’s assessment.<\/li>\n
    • Consent-based and optional.<\/strong> Use of the AI Intake Assistant is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent before any conversation begins, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may stop using it and contact the Clinic directly by phone, WhatsApp, or the contact form at any time instead.<\/li>\n
    • Accuracy of AI output.<\/strong> AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate despite our efforts to guide the assistant’s behaviour through its instructions and safeguards. The Clinic reviews and refines these safeguards on an ongoing basis but does not guarantee that every response will be accurate or appropriate in every circumstance.<\/li>\n
    • How your conversation is handled<\/strong> is described in our Privacy Policy, including that transcripts are emailed to clinic staff with your consent and are not stored in the Site’s database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      4. Appointments and Referrals<\/h2>\n

      • Submitting a contact form, referral, or appointment request through the Site does not guarantee an appointment. All requests are subject to clinical review and availability.<\/li>\n
      • If your enquiry indicates an urgent condition, please do not rely solely on the Site to reach us \u2014 call the Clinic directly or seek emergency care.<\/li>\n

            The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as WhatsApp) or use third-party services (such as our AI provider, Anthropic, for the AI Intake Assistant, or embedded video from Vimeo).
