Overview
Sustainable weight loss is rarely just about willpower. It is closely tied to metabolic health — insulin resistance, thyroid function, PCOS, sleep and medication side effects can all make weight harder to shift. Our weight loss programs start with understanding why weight has been difficult to manage, then build a plan around your specific metabolic picture, rather than a generic diet.
Common signs a program may help
- Difficulty losing weight despite consistent effort
- Weight gain alongside a new diagnosis such as diabetes, PCOS or fatty liver disease (MASLD)
- Wanting a medically supervised plan rather than a self-directed diet
What to expect at A Bit of Life Clinic
We begin with a full metabolic assessment — blood tests, a review of relevant conditions, and a discussion of your history with weight and past attempts. Your program is built from there: a realistic nutrition and activity plan, medical therapy where clinically appropriate, and regular review to track progress and adjust the plan. Where weight is linked to another condition such as MASLD, PCOS or diabetes, we manage these together rather than in isolation.
